Use the front page of this web interface to search for satellite SAR winds fields over your Area of Interest (AOI). You can use any of the tools listed below to select scenes:
Hold down the ‘Ctrl’ key and draw an area on the map using your mouse. You can use ‘scroll’ on the mouse to zoom in and out. Click on ‘Filter’ to search for scenes, which overlap partly or entirely with the AOI.
You can define an AOI more precisely by typing the interval of latitudes (from and to) and longitudes (from and to). Use ‘.’ as a separator for decimal numbers. Click on ‘Filter’ to display the area on the map and search for scenes, which overlap partly or entirely with the AOI.
To select scenes acquired during a specific period in time you may enter a date range. A calendar will appear once you place the curser in the ‘From’ or ‘To’ field and you can then select dates. Alternatively, you can type in dates in the format dd.mm.yyyy (e.g. 31.12.2016). Click on ‘Filter’ to search for scenes acquired during the period of interest.
Note that there is a gap in the data series from April 2012 to April 2014 due to a lack of European satellite SAR data coverage.
The search field ‘Text in filename’ is for free-text queries. For instance, you may search for scenes acquired by a specific satellite sensor or mode. For Sentinel-1 search ‘S1’, for Envisat search ‘ENV’, and for TerraSAR-X search ‘TSX’. You may also search for scenes acquired with vertical (‘VV’) or horizontal (‘HH’) polarization in transmit and receive.
